Custom cart and brace fitment
Our trained staff are there to guide you and assist with measurement, fitting and ongoing used of assistive equipment.
Our service is provided to ensure you understand the options available and once a decision is made to help with device fitment.
Occasionally, there is a need to source assistive devices for our pets. We might recommend a harness or non-slip aids to help support your pet for a short period during rehabilitation. In pets with more chronic and on-going mobility issues, we may be able to suggest a splint or custom made orthotic device to keep them pain-free and active, or a wheel cart to give them the mobility they deserve.
Paws in Motion has some of these temporary support items for purchase or rent and we can organise the assessment and measurement of your dog, cat or rabbit for custom devices from the following suppliers :
- Walkin’ Wheels
- Ginger Lead harness
- Help ‘em up harness
- Toe grips
- Sticky Paws
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease, which means that it gets progressively worse. How advanced is osteoarthritis in your dog, cat or rabbit? Your pet’s stage of arthritis will determine the steps you can take to alleviate their pain.
