"R" - Reflexes (非條件反射)
測試非條件反射動作是評估神經系統中重要的一環。
神經訊號首先由感受器（如手指）發出，再經過延髓或脊髓，不經過大腦直接傳遞到作用器（手肌肉）。我們可以藉由測試清楚了解動物神經系統的現狀。其中一個例子是膝跳反射（擊打膝蓋，小腿會向上），與人類的相似。
